And his story is well worth reading. Although I knew from the beginning how it would end, Blehm does an outstanding job of taking his blshm through Adam Brown’s final moments on earth, and in describing the impact of his death on his family, his fellow seals, his community, and our nation.

Adam’s story drew me in and shook me up and threw me out wanting to be a better person and to live life to the full.

And then we have his wife. I could not adequately describe all the areas of life the writer covers in the pages, the military and comradeship not even being the one most outstanding to me. As I read this book I was drawn into another man’s life, struggles, and breakthroughs. I felt like I knew him and everything he went through. Fearless brought me to that point. Adam Brown was a devoted man who was an unlikely hero but a true warrior, described by all who knew him as…fearless. But his sinful heart was changed, and his life would take a totally different direction.
This is a story published post mortem. I want more from my library than my occasional “wonderfully written” romance novels and there are sooo many great ones, that I just have Wow God bless those who have served to protect all of us!
I listened to this as an audio book on my three mile morning walks and thoroughly enjoyed it, as well as the author interview at the end of the recording.
They were surgically reattached but – as you can imagine – eic hand never worked properly again. I can’t say that I’m an overly spiritual person, but even if one doesn’t have the same faith or fewrless as Adam the message is the same; keep trying and never give up. His bravery, spirituality and toughness speaks for itself. Throughout his life he inspired scores of people, and his story has continued to change the lives of many — including mine.
When he went off to college, he lost his focus and close friendships and fell into the wrong crowd. He managed to overcome injuries to himself and still be able to function at that top level – that is just too amazing, and only through God was that possible.
But blem, I personally will not shelve this book among the greatest books Fewrless have read. This book is very heavy on the religion, and it’s something I wasn’t necessarily expecting.
Fearless is a clear and deeply honest portrait of an authentic American man who lived and loved with an intrepid personal velocity. I wish he was still here with his wife and two children to see them growing up.
