The books are written in such a way that they will be marvelous complements to the original Chronicles, while at the same time accessible and exciting to new readers.

Laurana’s story is also interesting as she is in the process of changing from the childish, somewhat weak character she started of as in the original book and moving towards the adult, strong leader she eventually becomes.
